Listen, I love Azealia, but we have to admit that her career isn't looking good at all right now. She started off great, 212 was brilliant, 1991 and Fantasea were getting rave reviews and her fanbase was growing. But then came the twitter fights. The more she fought the more she turned people off her. The absolute point of no return was when she started using homophobic slurs. She's now become so hated even before she released a new album. People don't want to give her a chance anymore.
But I think the ultimate blow to her career was 'Yung Rapunxel'. I'm sorry but that song is just doing nothing. Its not even charting anywhere. After the twitter fights she should have released a song that would have smashed and would be commercial. But she made the ultimate mistake by releasing such a polarizing song and video.

No she hasn't, she just needs to put out a radio friendly smash and she'll sky rocket, look how fast Yung Rapunxel rised on iTunes, it got to 80 without one radio spin and like 2 promo tweets.
No, she has not. Of course a song like Yung Rapunxel wouldn't do well commercially. She did manage to get into the Top 100/200 on the UK and US iTunes, which is great for an unconventional song with no promo. Interesting how this thread was created after the premiere of Iggy's new song...
