Will Smith refuses to punish his kids.
The actor's two youngest children – Willow, 12, and Jaden, 14 – with his wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith, followed in his footsteps to stardom and Will says they have complete control over their own lives despite their young age. Last year Willow posted a photo of herself with a tongue piercing as well as a picture of herself dancing with a Vegas stripper pole, while Jaden has publicly admitted he routinely brings girls into his bedroom and locks the door, despite his mother's disapproval. He also tried to get into a nightclub with Justin Bieber but was turned away. Will told Britain’s Metro, “We don't do punishment. The way that we deal with our kids is, they are responsible for their lives. Our concept is, as young as possible, give them as much control over their lives as possible and the concept of punishment, our experience has been - it has a little too much of a negative quality.
