But let me point out, Aerometis Britney has not flopped over the last 2 years. Her greatest hits album went platinum with barely any promotion and a mediocre cover single that flopped due to radio not playing it. Her remix album flopped because she was pregnant and couldn't promote, plus Jive did that just to get a little cash.

As for Ashlee, "I Am Me" DID indeed flop, compared to her debut. To go from near 3 million copies to less than 900,000 in a matter of a year sucks, especially over a performance. BUT there is a difference that I know your ignorant ass won't understand. Britney has a fanbase, a REAL TRUE fanbase. Meaning 1 stupid performance won't hurt her much, while Ashlee was still new and vurnerable. She didn't have time to build a strong fanbase. Add on the failing Orange Bowl performance, where again SHE issued excuses.

Your opinions are your opinions on if you think she's doing drugs. Yeah I agree Brit drinks when she goes out, but I HIGHLY doubt she's doing drugs. You say you can't tell with Ashlee, but it's easier to tell with Britney? Getting a haircut and having a social life = you're on drugs, if that's the case then I'm always high.

Ashlee's career isn't nearly as dead as Britney. In fact I bet Ashlee will get a lot better reviews than Britney will. Ashlee doesn't have all the drama that Britney has going on. By the time Britney's album comes out Britney will lose custody of her kids to K-Fed. That will probably be the final straw that drives her to a fatal OD. fyi, "pieces of me", "lala", "undiscovered", "surrender", "better off", "in another life" and the brilliant "coming back for more" are some of the songs that i like from her (thanks mostly to john shanks). but i don't really care too much for ashlee, and sorry to say but it's just laughable for an ashlee fan to mock britney's vma performance. completely spoils anything for me to like ashlee's music, which is mostly mediocre... oh well, wish her the best anyway.

there i said it... now this thread can continue fading into obscurity.

PEOPLE critic has already given it a good review, check their website, and Entertainment Weekly gave 4 songs they recieved a good response. so there you have it.

anyways both albums will most likely be good. "Murder" is terrible.

If Britney fans stop I will stop...it's quite simple. Just so you know...EW also had a "bad review" of Britney's new album. I will agree with you that Murder is terrible...as was the rest of the songs I have heard from her new album. But it's not my kind of music. If the music is not guitar driven pop/rock it's crap.

Sounds good...I don't mind people talking about Ashlee's or Britney's albums being bad. I just don't like it when people compare Ashlee to Britney and vice versa. I know I have done it too and it's dumb when I do it.

But when fans criticize the album for whatever reason it's different. I am still up in the air whether I will buy Ashlee's new album or not. Most likely I will but I would like to hear some good songs from her album before I commit to buying it. I think she would have been a lot better off using John Shanks and Kara too. Heck, I would like her to go way out on a limb and work with someone like Bob Rock or Jack Douglas. JD would be my first choice. Either one of them could bring out the rock star in Ashlee...but the only thing I don't know is if either of them would work with someone like Ashlee.

I think I'll still buy the album since I've broken my tradition of buying artists albums this year (Kelly, 50, etc.), but like you said I'm hoping for some good tracks. Timbaland ain't great at everything.
