I'm with Nicki and Randy, but I do live for Candice's church vocal. Her runs are heavenly, but they don't need to be everywhere.

That said, I'm sure Candice knows that. She's in a singing competition mindset, so it makes sense she wants her best to be on showcase every single week.

I guess I see what they mean.

Candice usually sings the full song in full power. If she had used that softer tone more and saved the full power for the most powerful parts of the song, it would have been better.
