The changes to the dance category. We Found Love would have easily won a grammy in that category but NO they just HAD to change it. Speaking of Rihanna, Disturbia was snubbed of that Best Dance Recording category.
I also think it's unfair that they allow live performances to go up against studio recordings. Set Fire To The Rain didn't deserve that grammy when it was the only live performance in that category.
'ET', 'The One That Got Away' and 'Wide Awake' are more better MV than all Adele's MV's.
If The Oscar has award for MV, Katy and Gaga will be awarded & acclaimed by Academy. So unfair.
Rolling In the Deep slayed harder and had more impact, not just the song but the video as well. Just look at its YouTube/VEVO views. It rightfully won.
Live recordings are allowed in any performance category, not just pop.
And no, the best-selling album doesn't often win.
There are far worse Grammy 'mistakes.'
And Adele totally deserved her Grammy for "Someone Like You."
And Taylor was never considered an "underdog."

But I actually agree with what you said. I also don't understand why people are so upset by the reduction in number of categories. It really does make it more of an achievement to win a Grammy when there are fewer being given out each year...
Babel, Adele and Santana all deserved Grammy's 
and adele being nominated for the short form music video for RITD and not single vid from TD era didnt get nominated there
