Nope. Seriously, he's just way too young. I know that ppl who lost one of their parents during their teens tend to grow up faster (some don't, some even regress), but from what I've observed he's not that good of a kid. I mean, come on, can't he at least called or asked his dad & siblings to RSVP for him for that wedding? Only a text?! Child, you're a Kennedy. You've been trained about etiquette since you're a baby! Downright rude tbh.
Him being part of an oligarchy is not helping either, the whole clan will definitely benefit from that relationship. So there's an ever present third party there. Plus, notice how it's mostly from Ethel's side of the fam who approved, but the rest are pretty much against it. The mother of the bride consciously talked about the whole affair to Boston Globe? That's now how ppl on her level roll. That's downright an embarrassment for the mother, not Her. Then there's the Kathie Lee Gifford, Maria Shriver situations. Just, idk, too many things against them other than maturity and age factors.
Don't forget about the three way scandal from Star. IF Victoria & Kathie threw Her under the bus bc of that wedding publicly, on what's supposed to be private matter, don't you think spreading rumours like the three way one could be one of their moves to get rid of Her?

C'mon now gurl. I thought we all know that wedding scandal is a bunch of crap. The bottom line is Ethel loves Taylor & loathe those bitches. They're jealous of Her so they want to get rid of Her.
And even though Conor didn't RSVP for two, is not a big deal. That's still one of your family members & it's hard to believe that they don't know Taylor is the girlfriend of Conor is in town with him. Of course he will bring Her. And the bride & groom don't have a problem with it so that Victoria & KLG (who's not even a real Kennedy) can sit down their jealous asses.
He's a smart sweet sensible guy. He campaigned along with Ethel, Rory & his father for Obama in 2008. And he spoke why he thinks Obama is the right choice for president. He's an environmental activist too. The guy stands up for what he believes in & more of a man twice his age tbh.
I just have a soft spot for those two. They're still talk to each other & in good terms so.
Awe I guess we're here to disagree & respect each other opinions. I still love you, gurl.

Guys, IMO Taylor is not losing sales, this is her selling power.
Fearless was her peak, people of all genres discovered her, a lot of people didn't know who Taylor was, they gave her a chance, and of course in every 5 people that bought Fearless one or two would buy her debut to support her.
As I said this to CFC, this is how it goes for Taylor and a lot of other artists:
Album #1: She gets introduced to the fans of her genre, they support her.
Album #2: She gets introduced to the fans of music in general, gets maximum exposure, everyone jumps in the bandwagon, buy this album and the previous one.
Album #3 and up: It's only her and her real fans, her only challenge is to keep those people, she cannot sell more than what she sold with Speak Now (which had a lead single with mediocre success) and Red (which had a smashing lead single).
No matter how many award shows she performs in, she will not sell more than what she did with Speak Now, everyone knows Taylor now, I'm pretty sure they're not waiting for her to come in an award show and sweep/person to buy her records.
So we clearly see that with or without promotion, with or without smash singles, with or without stunts, she will sell 3 to 4 million copies in the US with her studio albums.
We should be thankful she has 3 million people that buy her studio albums everytime she releases them (so far).
Although she can have her "Fearless" in Red WW cause not everyone knows Taylor.

I partially agree with you but I think if she made a game changer album she is capable of reaching diamond. She needs momentum which she has not had since Fearless. She needs a multiformat hit on both country and pop like Need You Now and a song that will blow up on country and give people a different view of her such as If I Die Young. Speak Now saw her singles struggle on Pop and not really dominate on country radio like it needed to and the same thing is happening with Red but in reverse. The singles are doing well on Pop but the country radio performance is not there. The duet with Tim has been the only bright spot on country radio this era. She also needs to have a dominating night at the ACMS, CMAS and Grammys. She also needs to stop being Pop girl at least in the vein of dancing because it is not her strength and go back to her guitar, piano playing self and stop with the awkward hand movements. Anyway the music is the major problem imo and unless she finds a way to balance pop and country in an adult manner then she will be stuck in this career rut. I doubt anyone around her will give her this sound advice though but we will have to see the action she takes for her next album.

Same here. He seemed to treat her well unlike some of her other exes that the fanbase in general likes to glorify.

Yeah the wedding thing was crap but the bad publicity that obviously was coming from within the Kennedy family was awful and doesn't need to be repeated since the media has the knives out for her anyway. The only way they would work is if Taylor was at a different point in her career not touring and just writing songs for other people or running her own record label. It is too bad because I did like them together but their lives are too different.

I think State of Grace and All Too Well would be perfect as the game-changing singles that would offer something mature and unique from Taylor. It may be hard to make them big hits, but BMR can pour everything into them to make it happen.

She's not going to release Treacherous as a single.
This is so depressing.

SoG, Treacherous, and HG a must-be singles. They show Taylor at her most mature state. ATW is nice, but there are so many other ballad-break-up songs, whereas there are few songs about the epic moment of bliss before the fall of a relationship, barely any ballads are are blatantly about sex without being sexual, and no psycho-chaotic songs about looking back on a past relationship and realizing that it was good.
SoG, Treacherous, and HG are the game changing singles.
