If you're like me and once in a while forget about assignments, what excuses do you use?

Today I forgot to do my corrections on an Honors essay (literally just putting in two commas ) and my teacher was NOT having it (there were two other people without them also). She was already pissed at her computer (she's like 70) so that didn't help. In return, she gave our class two quizzes on To Kill A Mockingbird. I didn't even trying giving her an excuse, I just said I didn't have it.

Anyway, I've used the "my printer wasn't working/out of ink" a few times and it's embarrassing tbh everyone in class knows that aint the truth and I'm surprised that my teachers haven't caught onto that. A new one I came up with is "I emailed it to you, didn't you get it?" blaming technology ftw

My dad died.

My brother was in an accident.

It's in my other notebook.

I just don't have it.

My friday night was still going on monday morning.

But I did turn it in didn't you get it?

Beyonce hasn't released a single yet.

When I get that Lady gaga and Beyonce albums is when you get my homework.

I've used the "I emailed it to you, you didn't get it" one some many times.

Honesty, half my family should be in the hospital or dead based on the amount of times I haven't been able to turn an assingment of time because they were "very sick".

Just tell ha "Bitch I don't have it, leave me alone"

It got saturated in my tears sorry

I do that all the time

I've literally perfected the simple but effective "omg I was just finishing it off this morning and I've left it at home on my desk omg sir/miss, I am SO sorry, I'll bring it to you first thing tomorrow "

"I gave it to you last week after school."
*Teacher looks around & can't find it*
Then I basically just make the teacher feel really guilty for losing it so that they give me extra time to do it 'again' or not at all

It fell in a puddle as I got off the bus
I was throwing up yesterday & decided to come in because I felt better
I had a therapy session and dinner with my father who has cancer
I think I left it in another class and cant find it, can I go look for it? (disappear till a reasonable time until they forget and say your stomach was hurting, and they'll forget about it with because TMI)

& THIS ONE TOO, but dont do it TEW much, it becomes obvious

"My gmail didn't save it in drafts correctly." "I had to go to a funeral" ect.

Come up with a vague but overly complicated "family emergency/situation". It always works for me.

I was sick.

My wifi crashed.

I lost my book.

You never assigned us homework.

My flash drive died (if your assignments are supposed to be typed)
