But basically, how excited are you really for Mariah's new single?

Don't get me wrong, I'm extremely excited but hear me out. Something inside me tells me that I probably would be disappointed. I personally want the new single to be HARD-HITTING and UPTEMPO. However, since Miguel is on it, I feel that it'll probably end up being a ballad or a mid tempo. I have no doubts that it'll be a great song but I just want this to stick out to the general public and help her go back to the top of the throne. I just feel that a duet is not what she needs as a lead single because it makes me worried ala Triumphant did horribly.

I'm just afraid about the delivery she will bring this era. Triumphant was a disaster and now the lead single is a duet/features someone so that makes me have flashbacks. I just want Mariah to come HARD with the music. If she flops, then so be it. I just want a good album and music that will have pop, r&b, urban elements altogether than all the fans love/know from Mariah.
