She's not a narcissist she's a control freak. Why would she want other people to have HER images?

The whole thing about capturing unflattering photos is just an assumption made by one person with a blog, not a fact. It's obviously so that Beyonce give the exclusive shots and not have other photographers just taking her picture to make money. It's not about vanity its about marketing. Beyonce's site only having the best photos = more people going to Beyonce's site. Beyonce giving only the images she wants out = Beyonce only revealing aspects of her tour that she wants to be seen. Of course she isn't going to post a truly unflattering picture of her but who would?

She will never learn that banning something will only have the opposite effect - everyone will want to know about it/ have it - like the pics from Superbowl. If she didn't ban them, the pics would never go viral - no HULK comparisons.

This is so dumb. The more they try to contain these stupid images, the more people will be mocking her. If they shrugged it off like logical people, then this **** wouldn't be popular in the first place.

Like seriously, you can never avoid bad photographs or being photographed as a celebrity, why try?

It's not that she doesn't want to be photographed at all. It's HER concert. She's not walking down the street or a red carpet. It's an event you need to pay to get in. It's like saying we should be allowed to take photos in movie theatres because everyone is a celebrity. There are things like ownership and rights involved with big shows like this.


Let's get one thing straight.

The idea that Beyonce is doing this for vanity is an assumption. Someone took one fact [her publicist sent that e-mail around after the SB] and another fact [photographers banned from taking photos] and made a story out of it. The truth is she has banned photographers since at least the I Am... Tour which was before the SB.

Like really. How can you be in the public spotlight and expect perfect pictures of yourself. Her publicist should just let it go or Bey should fire that person.

Her image is fine, it's just her publicist creating an image of Bey "demanding any unflattering pictures be taken down" that sparked this whole thing in the first place. Now people are going to think Bey is doing it.
