Of course Amy's version is superior but I LOVE Beyoncé's handling of it. The whole song sounds sultry and eerie. It fits the look and feel of The Great Gatsby very well! The King solidified on an epic movie soundtrack along with having one of her iconic hits covered for the film as well! A lane all her own!
"Crazy In Love" is a bigger classic and yet the Beyhive is appreciative of Emeli's cover because another artists interpretation is always welcome (or should be). Same with all the covers of the other classic "Listen". It's not supposed to sound the same or outdo the original. Did ya''ll want a karaoke cover?
