I honk I may be looking wrong. I can kind of see the stairs but not the actual stage.
L report back once the show has ended because it might just be me. There is a load of fog at the stage end.

My review of The Truth About Love Tour - Birmingham LG Arena (21/04/13)
The show started at around 9.15 and the opening act came on at around 8.
At around 9.05 the arena started to do a Mexican Wave and everybody was cheering and clapping each time it reached the end, it was so amazing to see.
There is a short intro using the TTAL song, which I suppose is meant to be like the opening titles to the 'game show'. The creepy guy comes and and does his speech and 'selects' Pink from the audience. He then sings/mimes the first few lines of RYG as he walks offstage, then the house lights go off and the dancers rise up as the song starts in full then FIREWORKS then Pink flies upwards. It sounds great in person.
After RYG it goes into WoS, which has a kind of 'extended' remix before the final chorus. Another great performance. My favourite song.
IIRC it goes into JLAP. One group of people kept whistling the whistle part of WoS through it- I thought it was just part of the show but it wasn't.
Her abs are so amazing. I could see them without looking at the screen. U + Ur Hand was fun.
"Have any of you been to my last tour? Are you still terrible dancers?" LMA(IL) was next filled with terrible dancing. The screens displayed some choreography such as 'the boxer' and 'the gangster' which was hilarious.
She goes off and the creepy guy comes back and does a speech about fetishes. He's actually really funny- albeit creepy.
Try starts as he leaves and Pink flies up again. Most of the song was performed without Colt (whose real name, I learnt from the tourbook is Jonathan) up until the final chorus IIRC.
Wicked Game was fun, a lot of sliding around the stage and nearly missing the mic as it tilted.
JGMAR was AMAZING. Throughout the show not many people filmed it but when it started the standing section was fiilled with screen lights. It was such a stan moment to sing the "Oh, oh" parts back to her. it felt like i was in the show.
Trouble was amazing as expected.
Pink then starts the band intros, does a drum solo into the start of AWAWA. the audience were really loud for that performance.
Single #4
AKA HCYNH was absolutely amazing. the sreens ha this hilarious video of Pink running round as a video game character with a masive knife. It was so distracting from the real one onstage though.
IIRC the creepy guy comes out here and flies arund the stage dressed as a fairy whilst rubbing his nipples.
Sober was flawless, as expected. The beady egg chandelier thng was such a great prop, although it looked really fragile and unsafe. Whenever it tilted I felt like I was going to have an aneurysm.
The Great Escape was amazing. I just wish she did the "I'm the king of the great escape" part.
Who Knew was just like it was at the promo shows. Fire & Rain is yet another amazing cover. Perfect was clean- something to do with a 3 year old family friend. It starts off acoustic then shifts into the album version.
There's a short video interlude which is a timeline up to CTMH, then the medley begins. Pink was w0rking that choreography. It was amazing.
SLY (single #6
) was fantastic. yeeeeeah, yeah yeah yeah! I've got a little piece of youu-hooooooo
BM(OLK) was great too. The creepy guy was wheeled out on a sofa and everyone danced around the stage. As the extended outro played Pink did the dancer shoutouts and then left with them.
The creepy guy had a speech about love then Pink ran out and pushed him offstage then So What began. At one point she flew right above me and I yelled "I LOVE YOU" and she winked and made a heart sign to me. I could've fainted.
She left and then we had a True Love behind-the-scenes bit/credits. After the house lights came on "All You Need is Love" started playing and as we slowly exited the arena so many people were singing along.
At one point earlier in the show there was a Chaos & Piss instrumental dance break and loads of the audience were singing along, it made me want to cry with happiness.
Only two faults: not much was done with the game show, which was set up so effortlessly. And secondly, the sound mixing was REALLY bad. But Pink could still be heard clearly singing like an angel.
Best night of my life.
Any questions?
