Why should I try?

So I waited until today to give it a listen, as waiting for the release date is always a rewarding experience.
I'm so glad I waited, omg.

"Grins" being the intro to "Nuclear Seasons" really highlights the power NS has.
"Take My Hand" being Charli's own version of a dance-pop track.
"Cloud Aura" sounding like "Karma" by Alicia Keys.
Everything is awesome. I love this album.

The only track I don't like is "So Far Away". But the rest.

Album of the week on iTunes in Norway! What I Like is the (free) single of the week as well. Hopefully it will get some more promo for her..

The album will be released here May 31 I can't wait to finally buy it.

Mine arrived today.

I have been listening to this album on repeat since Tuesday, the only Charli songs I listened to before this were Cloud Aura and You (ha ha ha) but I have some questions and if someone would answer them that would be amazing.


1. Why is the song Cloud Aura called that, when its not in the lyrics?
2. What is the song Black Roses about?
3. what are the lyrics for Black Roses (I can't find them anywhere.)

hmmm I also wondered about Cloud Aura's name... I never really saw a reason for it being named that... I don't even really know what that's supposed to mean or represent.

I also am curious what exactly black roses is about... I kind of feel like it's about being in love with someone who you know doesn't love you/you know the relationship won't work out (it's doomed from the start) but you're still falling victim to it. Probably the same guy as You (Ha Ha Ha), thematically it's similar I suppose. Black Roses are said to symbolize death, endings, and fare wells. (my ex gave me a rose once on one of our dates, and I kept it for a while but it died and when I was leaving for school, I gave it back to him and we had a temporary break up. We then decided to try long distance but then he cheated and that's another story).

I don't know all the lyrics/don't feel like typing them all out haha, but the main part that confused me in the chorus is apparently "Deep in black roses, DATELESS DOSES". I couldn't tell what she was saying there.
