Discussion: Ke$ha, No Respect On ATRL.

So ATRL's newest favorite artist to drag is the Glitter Queen Ke$ha, but for what reason? Its not secret that Ke$ha's latest album Warrior sold poorly despite her having a #2 single after a long hiatus.

While her sales are easy to drag, she continues to be more critically acclaimed then most of the main Pop Girls ( Katy Perry, Rihanna, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson ).

Is this clear exposure that the majority of ATRL only stans for sales?

Does Ke$ha deserve the slander and hate she is getting lately?

No one deserves hate but everyone gets it. Even the respected legends do.

Whitney isn't even respected here, nether is Aaliyah or MJ, so why would K$ be?

I think its a general rule of thumb that those are legendary artist already, and anyone disrespecting them is obviously delusional.

Its not like anyone is making Whitney vs. Rihanna threads on here to prove a point.

Lol, Metacritic scores are not the only sole aspect of acclaim. To give you an example, Animal may have a higher MC score than I Am...Sash Fierce and Stripped but both are way more acclaimed and praised.

She's probably dragged because she doesn't bring anything new to the table.

She's dragged on here so much because of A. her underperformance and B. not many people liking her. Plus, this is ATRL. Everyone gets dragged on here. Ke$ha is just an easy target for everyone because she's apparently "trashy", a "party-goer", "generic", "AIDsy", and many other disgusting names. Contrary to all those false insults, she's a wonderful person who loves everyone. Out of all my faves, she has been the nicest to me. Her music, more of the album tracks than the singles, are amazing. Most people just don't pay attention to them and drag her left and right for her "generic hits". She recently stated that RCA doesn't let her pick her singles, and I hope everyone knows that by now. She's just an easy target because of her sales and false perceptions. But she really is a caring, nice, sweet, and amazing person.

It's true, people are so close-minded, some don't even bother to review her.

18 reviews is pretty standard though.
