Last year was the big year with truly HUGE and Great albums. This year's releases were mediocre, the singles and the albums.

the thing I don't get it was why with all these potential biggest artists you could name of releasing singles....the majority of #1 songs this year is unbelievably worst song you could imagine of...

Too many good bands with albums made of masterpieces

In my opinion 2006 was good in sellings and that stuff...but not better than 2005

Yeah... but 2007 is the year of Nelly Furtado!!... And I'm not saying this because I'm a huge fan of her...that's a fact! She has the single of the year "Say it right" ( "umbrella" won't beat "say it right, probably), she's in another smash hit of year "Give it to me" and "All good things (come to an end)" will be in the top 20 singles of 2007 (number 1 for consecutive weeks in european top singles). Beside, "Loose" is the best selling album of 2007 so far... yeah, Linkin Park's new album will pass it over ... but "Loose" will certainly be in the top 3 albums of the year... (although it was released in 2006 and 13th best selling album of 2006!)

Yes Nelly's album is amazing.

Music has been crap since OutKast's "Speakerboxx/The Love Below" era ended. Music just got really crappy..a few good releases got caught in the rapture.

I prefer 2002 era, Avril Lavigne, Pink, and Christina sucess , but this year is a good too. a Big Part for Rihanna and Nelly Furtado.
