There seems to be a lot of confusion here, but essentially if Idol dropped below 10M viewers then that's when everyone should panic. Also, their demo is like 3.0 (I believe) which is great; not many networks achieve that. No need to panic about the ratings.
I really hope Amber can make it to the Top 3 over Kreetia. I really can't stand her granny wardrobe and her doing the same thing every week. She doesn't seem to realize she's in a competition and that gives me WGWG vibes. A girl winner don't mean anything if they're a female WGWG tbh
Ousted Idol Janelle Arthur surprised by lack of save – “We thought the week of Lazaro (Arbos’ elimination) was the last week to use it,” says Janelle Arthur, who was ousted Thursday when the judges split 2-2 on whether or not to keep her. “Then they told us they had to use it before the end of the year, but they didn’t really tell us when the cutoff was.”
It's so obvious the save will be used on Amber this week. It might give her the boost she needs to upset another girl and make top 3 maybe even the finale. Are the producers trying to serve us a Candice/Amber finale as rumored?
I just don't see how Candice would be marketed. She, in fact, has the best voice but we all saw the Melanie Amaro fiasco. Having Candice in a Pop genre wouldn't work, but because R&B is very difficult to promote I don't see her being successful in that genre either. But at least she has the platform of A.I. so hopefully the opportunity opens other doors that were previously not available.
