Some people say kissing, others say flirting or sexting. But what is generally seen as cheating. For me its passionately kissing and beyond, but flirting is not. I flirt all the time, but its meaningless.
Any attempt (reciprocated or otherwise) to engage in intimate/sexual activity with someone outside the bounds of the monogamous relationship.
I consider sexting, webchats, digital expressions of romantic/sexual intention as cheating, even if there's no physicality, because the intention is there.
Any physical/sexual contact, so kissing or beyond. And now with sexting I would count that too. If you're my boo but you're sending naked pics or sexual messages to some other girl you gotta go.

I noticed that people take issue with a people who looks at adult content as cheating also. Even though its not an intent to have a relationship with the person in the video or image.
Cheating is anything that you have to do with another person behind your partner's back.
I do think flirting is okay every now and then because it brings excitement into the relationship sometimes..
But if your partner doesn't agree, then uh yea.
You might want to stop.

This! And sexting is clearly cheating because you're trying to see what's in someone's pants and you're dating someone else
I would personally be uncomfortable if a partner was even so much as flirting with someone else; I'd feel as though I'm unimportant and disposable to them. But I suppose it's different for everyone.
