we will have 2 hours this year because people don't like long 3 hour award shows and get probably get bored with the show.
we won't have a host.just random celebs to show up and to keep the awards going.we need to do the show in las vegas hey beats new york any day.plus well get more ratings that way.at least that mtv was thinking.imo.
the main problem i had in las vegas.it looked disorganized and disjointed and when they gave the awards to fob and gym class heroes.it felt rushed to me.i could hardly hear them and what they had to say about thier awards. BTW, John Norris needs to go and take horrid blonde hair with him. Where's Kurt Loder when you need him?
Agreed there. John Norris needs to be shown the door at MTV News. Honestly, SuChin Pak and Tim Kash were the best MTV News reporters ever for the VMAs.
lol its funny how the crowd barely responded to her jokes. Closer to the end, there was like no response from them and you could hear her voice starting to shake like "WTF how can they not be laughing at me OMG!!!111"
I like Sarah sometimes, shes edgy but sometimes she goes too far...and the comment about her babies was waaay too far.
i agree the baby joke was a bit farstretched, but it´s her style of humour, everyone knows that, and she makes as harsh jokes on herself too....but yeah, her kids is something else
MTV Sucks, WTF???? They have changed the name of all of the awards for *****. MTV staff have lost their trustworthy. MTV WMA was an important music awards. No matter what abc, cbs, nick or trl awards did in the past, they never defeat MTV.
What I watched yesterday was the most horrible program I have ever seen. MTV is a mess. Britney Spears should quit right now and apologize about her performance. She should put a balad song saying goodbye while I am fixing my personal problems. Don't miss me when I come back I will be the best. No!! but instead that she came with a sexual song. Britney, Look we dont need another sexual song. We had enough with Nelly Furtado, Timbaland, Justin and Hilary Duff. The only thing you are getting its like people like me turn off the radio/tv when they play a song/video from you. We dont want sexual songs, No body gave a **** for your stupid sexual songs. You are letting small artists like Plan White T, Sean Kinsgton, Chris Brown, Shakira, get number one without any problem. The only artist who has done great in the year is Avril lavigne and how come she didnt win anything?
Gimme More is not about sex. Anybody with a brain knows that. The song is about paparazzis. MTV is **** though. And Britney was **** as well last night.
The whole thing was really out of place. If they had more than 2 hrs, everything in one room, and better categories, the show would hav been much better. Here is are my performance ratings:
Britney: Her performance was completely horrible. She was lazy and Lip-synced, badly. An easy 0/5 (FAIL!!!)
Chris Brown: He also lip-synced, but the main part of his performance was dancing. So I'll give him a 2/5
Alicia Keys: Easily one of the best performances of the night. 4/5
Linkin Park: Bleed It Out was great! Look above. 4/5
FOB Suite: All of the FOB suite songs were ok. I give it a 3/5.
Foo Suite: Look above, although The Pretender and Cee-Lo collab were cool. 3.5/5
Kanye Suite: Most of the Kanye Suite songs were pretty good. Except for Souljah Boy. He was ok. 4/5
Justin/Timba Suite: All of these performances were ok. 3/5
Mark Ronson Performances: They were all short, but still good. 3.5/5
Closing: It was good, but where were Missy Elliot & Chris Martin? 3.5/5
lol I completely agree. Really though, I didn't think it was any worse than I expected. I knew Britney's performance would suck and I hope most of you did too. Some of the performances were fine and a couple were actually good. But I have to agree that it was completely disorganized and could have been done a lot better.
