I just finished watching, and this show SUCKED BIG TIME!!! It'll be a miracle for this once-great awards program to not get cancelled. MTV has some major overhauling to do before next year. Bring back major awards, and actually organize some longer performances, instead of the 30-second crap we had to witness this year.

Nicole Scherzinger - Really nice dancing, despite having one of the most irritating tracks of '07.
Britney Spears - She sucked. I don't even have to say that. She lip-synced (terribly), danced (unconfidentally), and there was no effort whatsoever. She'll have to do much much better than that if she plans to sell any records.
Sarah Silverman - Quite a disappointment, actually. I didn't think anything she said was funny. Work on some new material that doesn't involve diarrhea or vaginas.
Chris Brown - Even though it was lip-synced, his dancing was great, and Rihanna was just the icing on the cake.
Linkin Park - They did an awesome job, and just blew me away after some really mediocre airtime.
Foo Fighters - Not as good as LP, but still good.
Alicia Keys - One of, if not THE, best part of the entire show, hands down. She should have opened the show.
Rihanna - She sounded a lot better than at the Movie Awards! It was really cool and unexpected for Fall Out Boy to play Shut Up And Drive.
Kanye West - I wish he would have turned around and punched T-Pain, just for entertainment factor, but he really did do a nice job with Touch The Sky, Stronger, Good Life, and Drivin' Me Wild with Common.
Finale (The Way I Do It To Me Stoned) - This was like ending a really boring novel with an outstanding climax. Nelly Furtado, despite her being beyond ugly as a blonde, made that generic song of hers sound better. Keri Hilson was so hot, and I hope she and Nelly F. duet sometime! Justin was good, as always, and Give It To Me was a great way to tie it all together.
Others - Fall Out Boy, Maroon 5 and Gym Class Heroes disappointed, big time. I expected 50 Cent and Souljah Boy to be boring, and they were, except for at least 50 had Justin to carry him. Akon was unnecessary without Eminem, and I wish Daniel Merriweather sang more.
Winners - Rihanna, Beyonce/Shakira and Justin's wins were well-deserved, but Gym Class Heroes should NOT have won Best New Artist. I would have been fine with Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen or Carrie Underwood, but GCH just aren't that talented or innovative.
