Well, all the performances in the suites SUCKED ASS.

Other than Britney's, the main stage performances were pretty good. Chris Brown & Alicia Keys definitely had the best performances of the night.

Wait...are we seeing a RE-AIRING of the telecast or was watching Britney make a fool of herself the top pick for the remix?

I loved Nelly Furtado/Timbaland/Justin Timberlake performance !!!
Nelly Furtado is a great performer, and Keri Hilson was great too.

That was the worst VMA that I ever seen. Really all the stars were away in this show, Gwen Stefani, Fergie, Avril, J.Lo... The Performances were OK except one, and I don't want to say the name, I like the Alicia Keys Performance and Nelly Furtado, Justin and Timbaland closing the show!. But really this awards sucked a lot! I'm so happy to see Rihanna win.

no we don't need her trying to sing/chant or lil mama coming on stage trying to rap in a baby's suit. though it would've been nice to see "hot" performed.

Alicia Keys took a big nasty sloppy stinky **** on all those other performers. I am so disappointed w/ that Chris Brown performance; he didn't even try to lip the song ... Nelly's Do It performance was nice :-/

The show was a complete disaaster.

- Nothing was organized and everything was all over the place.
- Random WTF performances.
- Kanye/Timba/Justin just make me . They were dominating so badly.
- Britney sucked balls.
- Chris is so lame and generic.
- Alicia was good but i was still bored.
- I couldn't stand the "surprise" last performance because i was already sick of seeing justin and his bf for the billionth time.
- I didn't care for the winners except for Fergie's and Beyonce's. So congrats for them.

This year sucked, Brit's sad performance topped the cake, but add on Chris lyping and TRYING to be Michael again, and the fact that they cut the purpose of VIDEO Music Awards. We had no original awards (Best Pop, Rock, R&B, Dance, Hip-Hop, etc. etc. Video). I mean come on, they are losing focus.
