I'm a fan of Lady Gaga (Pre-Born This Way).

Because Lana has an attractive aesthetic, something a lot of LM's liked about Gaga during The Fame/Monster era.

And Azealia is ultra gay. No shade, but I meant, it seems like one of the main reasons why LM's stan for her as well.

I don't think the mutuality is with Lana, but definitely with Banks & Gaga.

No shade to Gaga or Little Monsters because she's my fave and I love her, and I know some people do genuinely like these artists, but I know a lot of Gaga fans push themselves to these artists, because they think they're non-generic artists and something different and unique to the typical pop-stars. Which doesn't really make sense, since that's what Gaga is. Like if they like these artist they think it puts them in a place to be music snobs and act like their taste isn't mainstream, which is apparently cool. And is completely contradicting.

But not everyone is like that, and I'm sure some people just enjoy their music.

Because GaGa is Queen of Pop, Lana is Queen of Indie, and Azealia is Queen of Hip Hop. All 3 push boundaries in their respective genres and make flawless music

I've been a fan of each of them since the beginning of their careers so they mean a lot to me.

I am a LM but I genuinely love Lana she is my second fave. And Banks' newest video for 'Yung Rapunxel' is way too cool that made me like her

Not even shading anyone in particular, but I'm convinced if you put a green wig and cute pumps on an inanimate object and gave it one Top 40 Dr. Luke or RedOne single, you will see threads praising and stanning for it, comparing it to Michael Jackson and how they're slayed by its good personality.

They are "connected" in any way. Lana was signed to Interscope(same label as gaga), but some monsters who were tired of waiting for music, jumped in the bandwagon. Azealia, in the other hand, had the same manager as gaga and was signed to interscope.

I disagree just because someone is successful it doesn't mean they deserve a title especially because they are still fresh/new. Anyways I think the reason they have a lot of fans in common because they all have a sounds or aesthetic that distinguishes themselves from other artists. Then on top of that many just happen to like all their music.

I'm sure you do, I never disputed the fact that people genuinely do. My point still stands about those Tumblr Monsters who stan for these artists and other artists for the sake of being hipster.
