Not many people know her as well as her constituency people. There was an elderly woman who told Margaret that the money she had to pay to (I think the landlord or something) got lost somewhere in exchange. Nobody knew that Margaret secretly behind that old woman's back paid it for her.
A truly evil person wouldn't care what happened to that old woman, and would certainly have not paid off what that woman owed behind her back.
