Well I mean if you think about it, makes sense. Like how she straight out said the guest spots were nice cause it wasn't a large commitment.

Now if we look back at NBC all she did was Community and we didn't actually hear much news about the actual show or any pilot news.

Now FOX she has done Rasing Hope and Two and a Half Men, but we haven't actually heard ANY news of the development deal since last summer in August when she announced it. I knew something was up, when there was no news about a pilot.

The way I see it..

She signed the development deal with fox > did the two guest spots > fell through > wrapped up Elixir series > now focusing on music, wanting to record etc.

Like she said it's a bittersweet day.

Unless we are way over analyzing this interview, and like Avery said she just can't say much. Just I highly doubt it, because when you connect the dots it just all adds up. She made it pretty clear she has nothing in the works after Two and a Half Men besides focusing on music.

And this doesn't really have anything to do with anything, but I thought by the time she did Community, her NBC deal already fell through like a year earlier. The shows she guest starred on around the time of her NBC development deal were SVU & Ghost Whisperer. And even by the time she did Gossip Girl the development deal was already dead and burried. I could be wrong. Lol.

Yeah your right I knew it was SVU and Ghost Whisper was apart of the NBC deal ah it's been a long day.

Which also makes sense why it has been so quiet news wise because she doesn't have anything in the works. It could have been a lot worse, she could have been like I'm taking a break or music is not my main focus.

Yeah, I'm just glad music is her main focus. Finally. I think we got a lot of useful news from this interview. We're a little more in the loop when it comes to Hilary's carrer choices now instead of wondering all the time.

Now I just wanna know when she'll start writing and recording.

She doesn't seem to be in a rush which is fine, I'm cool with waiting for the album. It would just be nice if we got a song or two this year to hold us over. At least we know music is her main focus and she has the time to go in the studio now.

I had this idea that maybe Hilary's guest spot on the finale of Two and a Half Men might lead into a multi-episode arc for next season? It'd be kind of weird to just have her on the finale then nothing else, especially since finales for big shows are often a cliff-hanger of some sort. Though I guess the cliffhanger could be outside of Hilary's story in the episode but you never know. Just something I thought of.

Lizzie McGuire will be airing on the Disney Channel next week.

That's strange that LM is airing at midnight that week. I'll tune in, hopefully it airs every week. If they don't air The Lizzie McGuire Movie on May 1st for the decade anniversary, Disney is dead to me.

According to Luis, the John Jay and Rich interview was just them making a bunch of crude jokes about wanting to know about her pregnancy, Frankie Muniz, and Hilary talking about her favorite TV shows.

TERRIBLE JohnJay and Rich Interview... Ugh no wonder why Avril Lavigne hung up on them.

Just VERY pointless... At one point of the interview, they didn't ask Hil a question about the book, they just expected her to talk... I don't know but they also seemed rude by calling her Hilary Duff (her full name) at points. Just no new info from this interview at all.

Usually their interviews are really great with her, but today's was just awful. Like her worst interview ever I swear.

But all those candids coming out of her lately are FLAWLESS. I wish she had gone out more when I was in town, I may have seen her. Lol
