Well I mean if you think about it, makes sense. Like how she straight out said the guest spots were nice cause it wasn't a large commitment.
Now if we look back at NBC all she did was Community and we didn't actually hear much news about the actual show or any pilot news.
Now FOX she has done Rasing Hope and Two and a Half Men, but we haven't actually heard ANY news of the development deal since last summer in August when she announced it. I knew something was up, when there was no news about a pilot.
The way I see it..
She signed the development deal with fox > did the two guest spots > fell through > wrapped up Elixir series > now focusing on music, wanting to record etc.
Like she said it's a bittersweet day.
Unless we are way over analyzing this interview, and like Avery said she just can't say much. Just I highly doubt it, because when you connect the dots it just all adds up. She made it pretty clear she has nothing in the works after Two and a Half Men besides focusing on music.
