This could be a good album. But I don't think it will do anything commercially. She really needs to build up her name, and that won't happen in 1 era
Not true. I mean it's not like she's gonna go platinum or anything, but I'm sure that this album can be more successful than "Fantasy Ride" and "Basic Instinct" and if so that would be enough for me.
I'm grateful that we are getting a album, i don't care what she cut off or the tittle change because she could have totally dropped the entire album project and waited another 2 years.. then i would had been pissed.
im really proud of her, and about her building her name??? she didnt have to do it for her first album so why now? anything is possible in the music industry people will buy what they like to hear, alot of people know who ciara is but have forgotten about her over time, this album will refresh alot of memories and hopefully hit platinum status!
Depending on how well Body Party does (its far from over) and depending on if they decide to get that Pop smash Overdose out before the albums release i can see this going up to 100k.
I kno that sounds optimistic and beyond a realistic expectation, but this Era has been handled pretty well so far, and i dont mean the OWA era. I mean the CIARA era.
From the day Body Party dropped there was a significant change in the way the label handled Ciara, and i think they are doing everything flawlessly right now. The tracklisting reveal was perfect. The album cover and preorder was PERFECT. Body Party's Video release is PERFECT. Even Ciara's cameo in BET's The Game. PERFECT..
Now i think we all just need some promo lined up up to the albums release and they are all set...

She can't do both? what are you even saying right now? If introduced proper she could do both! the problem with her transition to begin with was that it was "All of a sudden".. If she handle the release of pop songs on this album well then she could very well do both!!! ... I suggest she teams up with David Guetta before releasing pop tracks of her own, or just wait until BP peaks

this album will outsell goodies, i can see it happening, she has a hidden fan base that has forgotten about her because they listen to whats on the radio and what not, once they see that ciara is back they will march in and buy that album!
