And then that's the difference between Beyonce and some other artists. It's not necessary for her to sing a hit in order for it to be captivating and a good performance.
It's also a rather bland song that proves that the public often doesn't appreciate music for what it is, and would rather hear a recycled idea than something new and innovative.

It's a moot point. All artists perform songs that weren't singles and leave out hit singles.
I just happen to love IIWAB and BTINH. I also wanted SIY and Ave Maria but clearly she isn't going to be accommodating.
She's obviously leaving space for new songs later on. Her set list is shorter than what it should have been.
