Gurl, no need to write an exam and novel about being gay.
Rayn Murphy is gay himself, and let's be real, a lot of gays are like his characters.

Ryan Murphy is probably one of the worst things to happen to TV for gays in a while, so I will damn well write what I please.

I don't have a problem with what (little) I have seen from Glee. As much as they are a stereotype, gay men like Kurt do exist and they deserve to be represented. There is nothing wrong with feminine gay men. I think it's just the circumstances in which they are portrayed. Shows like Glee and Modern Family are all based on character stereotypes, they are amplified personalities.
I have a feeling this show will portray masculine and feminine gays, but I also kind of have an instinct that this program will show a group the gays as having "their own little world" that is far removed and given the title of "gay culture". Which of course the idea of "gay culture" isn't necessarily relevant to a lot of gay people especially the younger ones. We'll see though. It's easy to be critical but unless the show is actually ******** I'm not bothered

This. I wholly understand and agree that feminine gays totally deserve to be represented, but that he leans on situational stereotypes is what kills me and these characters are not nearly developed well enough so that you actually care about them in the end. Having seen a ton of Glee, it only got more irksome. Again, that is Ryan Murphy for you. The fact that he is gay only makes this worse, IMO.
