The Fame Monster Era started I created a Twitter account (around the time of the VMAs 2009). When she released BR, I tweeted a lot about her and one day I noticed that she followed me.
After that, I became a more natural fan. Since then I bought the albums and 1 or 2 singles and registered on Gagadaily (which is a pure mess now and I will never go back). And right now I'm really happy that I'm not a hardcore stan anymore but a loving fan.
