Orangenial Music
Delaney - Orange Dress
Source: Their website
- Oh my gosh. Not only is this song awesome but it has "orange" in it and the band played it last night after I requested it. What an amazing experience that was, haha.
Cast of Drake and Josh - We Will Rock You
Source: Television
- For some reason I recently got into this show and this was an awesome episode. Too bad Josh is not part of this.
Six songs that I feel like mentioning (in addition to the previous songs):
There is something about these songs... darn them.Ace of Base - Cruel Summer
Album: Flowers | Year: 1998
- For some reason I randomly had this stuck in my head this week. Good song!
Aerosmith - Crazy
Album: Get A Grip | Year: 1994
- It is crazy to see Alicia Silverstone and Liv Tyler in this video. Apparently Alicia was in two other Aerosmith videos? Either way, randomly saw the video for this recently and wanted to mention it.
Genesis - Land Of Confusion
Album: Invisible Touch | Year: 1986
- Genesis had performed in Live Earth and I had meant to include a song by them then, but I completely forgot after having six songs already. Well, here it is! Thankfully I re-heard the song through someone. Crazy video too!
Julie Roth - Lost To Found
Album: Glimpse EP | Year: 2007
- Julie Roth is a local artist who will be releasing her EP today, so I thought it would be a good idea to include her this week, haha. She is actually pretty good, in my opinion. Expect a song next week that is more popular that is sort of related to her.
Phil Collins - In The Air Tonight
Album: Face Value | Year: 1980
- What a mellow yet crazy song! I love how you can relax to it throughout, even when it sort of stops being completely mellow. If you have not heard of this song, I definitely recommend you doing so!
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Tell Me Baby
Album: Stadium Arcadium | Year: 2006
- What an amazing album. For some reason I would always miss out on the beginning of this video, so seeing that sparked my interest in this song again, not that I ever disliked it, haha.
Last night was great. I discovered a pretty kickass band earlier this week and I got to talk to them last night! They even signed their CD-R, haha. It was cool. KROQ's LA Invasion is on later this weekend! Maybe seeing Delaney was the head start of an amazing weekend? If not, may it be the case for you and you end up having a great weekend!
