Not really. When I played this game I used to kill them myself. For example, put them in the pool and then removed the stairs so they drowned, or making a fire on the kitchen without doors (which I removed as soon as fire started) so they burned.
Or just hasn't buy them a food and then hitting on the rewind.

Think this means you sub-consciously want to kill that family member. Freud would agree.

Sometimes in The Sims 3, when I pause the game, the TV will keep playing or one of their heads will continue moving for a bit

well if you remove the stairs from the pool the sim will be too dumb to climb out of it & die...so thats kinda freaky in a way

I use to be terrified playing the sims 1 when I was younger. It's all because of the creepy ass music though.

the burglary music was beyond terrifying. and them dying of starvation wasn't a pretty thought either.

In the sims 1 days I used to get so scared about fires, burglars and that music that plays when you get fired

I remember when I had a family and left it on play for half an hour came back and 3 drowned in pool 1 and 1 died from starving to death was still alive... leaving my Sims 2 on, at least they didnt ALL die just pissed themselfs...at least Sims 3 they can take care of themselves haha.

I remember my first time play sims 3 once my sim had died i jumped because I didn't know about the music the reaper plays when he shows up. I had my volume pretty high so it made me jump
