This is the problem with all child actors. They get to that age where they don't want to be seen as a little funny kid anymore, and start acting up to ruin that image. But all they do is overcompensate instead of finding that "balance".

Hilary is the one of the very few who got it right and all together.

Nothing more devastating than a rich, sheltered celebrity turning to partying. It just burns my heart.

Unfortunately I find this Amanda meltdown to be so... useless. It's not entertaining like Charlie Sheen's was. It's not a big loss, or embarrassingly pathetic, the way Lindsay's is. And it definitely doesn't make sense in the context of her life, while Britney's did. It just seems pointless, obnoxious and uninteresting. Maybe the melodramatic Twitter coverage is ruining it for me. I don't feel the same empathy for her that everybody else does, and I'm not fascinated by this kind of half-hearted, clumsy downfall. The bit of drama Amanda is causing gets exaggerated to make it seem like this is something that's never happened to anybody before.

She really needs help before something tragic happens.
