I agree.
I think we all know deep down that Christina should be making raw and emotional pop/soul/r&b with the odd sassy uptempo and retro number. Her voice is perfect for it and it's something only she can offer.
She's a blue eyed soul singer, the white girl with a big voice. That's her calling card and her unique selling point. Focusing on that will get things back on track. She needs stability and credibility. She's done the pop girl thing. It's time to move on.
I really don't understand why they got her making a Lotus post-Adele when she's the ONLY pop girl who could pull off a 21 2.0.
