Thank God she's taking notes from Kelly Clarkson and Pink. Those two make outstanding pop-rock songs (aka U + Ur Hand, So What, Just Give Me A Reason, Sober / Since U Been Gone, Never Again, Stronger, Behind These Hazel Eyes).
