Same team are working on Parker's music (which will be released through Nicki's label), and Jason Derulo's and Rita Ora's new albums.

But this isn't her so it doesn't matter and you can't even credit this to Nicki cause again its not her...trash by the way

The guy trying to imitate Nicki I was this was as pop as she had gotten. Like if she took Super Bass' success and then on PF:RR made some songs like this. I could see this being a hit but she wouldn't have gotten AS much backlash as Starships.

How do you know it was for her?

Nicki writes her own raps though. So. If Nic would have done new verses and a new chorus and pretty much new everything itd be pretty cool.

If you listen to the lyrics, it's blatantly obvious.

I wonder how it would have sounded if Nicki recorded it. But I understand why they didn't put this on The Re-Up, would've been out of place. Maybe could've made PF:RR though.

Death. This is better than 3/4 of the pop half of PFRR. I wish she had recorded this (with slightly different verses) instead of Automatic.

I like the above demo, but it's not that fresh sounding to me. I can see why she just stayed put with The Boys and Va Va Voom. The Re-Up wasn't intended for Top 40/M anyway.

Regardless, I don't think it'd be even close to as successful as Starships, which is one of the zeitgeist songs of 2012, alongside STIUTK and Call Me Maybe. It was the only international single from the album around its initial release window, and it carried the sales of 500k copies outside the US in that time frame. As a single, it was huge too in its own right, so all respect to US urban media and audiences, but their backlash was pretty local.

Anyone can make some random crap in FL Studio and upload it to Soundcloud tagged as an unrecorded demo. You guys need to work on your critical analysis.

Parker is one of the writers, so I dunno, maybe he knows something...
