I don't think they're comparable.
Lady Gaga is a cultural icon, Princess Diana is a historic icon.

What about Michael Jackson and Elvis though.
And old day film stars such as Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn and Elizabeth Taylor are
arguably
bigger icons.
