Most of Pixar's films are probably objectively better in terms of writing, creativity, stories, etc but I have way too much nostalgia with the Disney Renaissance to not give them my vote.
Beauty and the Beast and Lion King. And then Mulan was like the girl power icon for my little ten year old gay self.
The Disney classics are great, but I don't think that the Disney animation studio has been able to maintain that timeless standard. Disney has kinda closed the book on the classic Princess series style and have moved on to 3D like with Brave. Plus I think my fave has a better shot as getting cast as a vocal actress or for the soundtrack for a Disney movie.
BUT! Pixar has better films that adults can enjoy since their storyline do not have to be based around fairy tales.

Tangled was the Disney Animation studios last Princess related film...for now. And it did really well and has proven to be a Disney classic. We'll see how they do with Frozen tho..
Disney Renaissance. just all of the beauty and songs and messages

The princess movies never appealed to me and although The Lion King and Aladdin put up a good fight, Toy Story, Finding Nemo, and Monsters Inc. are untouchable.
