Ariana Grande has a huge American fanbase coming off an extremely successful Nickolodeon show, and the press labeled her as the next Mariah Carey with her beautiful vocal performance on her single - giving the single quite a bit of hype. Avril's American fanbase is average at best, we have average amount of hype, and the press hate her. You better prepare to be disappointed, because my logic tells me top 15 debut, but I also believe that with a good week sales, some well planned hype building by the label, she CAN debut top 10, but really the odds are against us. I want to debut top 10, and I believe she can, but realistically, it will be top 15/20.
