Are you kidding me? It was acousticy-folksy-low key sounding stuff. The only Avril stuff it is similar to is a few songs from the load of pre-Let Go demos. And while I occasionally listen to those, I can stand to do so because those weren't touted up to be something more than they are: DEMOS. And if the songs from GL were simply demos that leaked on the way to fleshing them out into full songs, maybe I'd give them the occasional listen, too.
The only songs that really sound anything like Avril had done ON AN ALBUM before were WTH and Alice.
