You need to stop with the debut vs debut thing
I was just using Britney's debut and comparing it to other albums released at that time which were not all necessarily debuts. I'm doing the same thing with TF, comparing its sales to other pop girls albums - again not all of them are debuts. I can use OIDIA as well if you'd like.
The point is, now read this carefully:
Britney completely destroyed every single pop girl with her massive album sales
The gap between their sales were massive.
Same cannot be said about gaga. As I said the difference is just a couple of million.
So there ya go. Not that impressive after all
A couple of million these days is a similar percentage in this sales climate to what Britney did in the late 90's and early 2000s. If you can't see that, not my problem.
