You're underestimating Beyonce's influence. She really re-shaped the R&B/Pop crossover, and led to a new vocal style, and has influenced SO many artists that have become forces (not necessarily commercially, but artists that have made a name for themselves).

Madonna hasn't influenced anyone since the 90s? What about Lady Gaga? Carly Rae Jepsen? Gwen Stefani? Your own fave? Marina and the Diamonds? Rihanna? I could go on.
