Ask any new pop girl around the corner who they'd rather be (career wise) if Britney or Madonna and they all are going to say Madonna, well at least the sane ones.

Not according to the plethora of artists who've copied her sound.
Not according to all the trends she set in music.
Not according to the millions of girls she influences with her style and haircuts.

Madonna still is. Whether for her new or old material, MANY pop girls get inspiration from her, and some even pay her odes and tributes.
