These developers need to stop perpetuating the idea that gaming can only be a social experience. These queens think social media and networking must be involved in everything and that technology must have access to communication via online. Gaming started as an experience one has in solitude and it still has a place for that. Like let it go. Stop trying to make your gaming consoles everything plus a toaster. Let online and offline gaming and components have their own space.

Pretty much. I'm tired of developers insisting on the whole 'sharing and social experience' idea. Yes, the way gaming has changed because of the internet has been great but seriously though, most of the time I just want to play the damn game alone in the comfort of my living room not having to think about if my internet connection is ok or not. And what about people who don't even have internet connection? I think it's unfair to assume everyone has it.
The idea is so awful and it's looking more and more likely to end up being true. Luckily I have/had no interest in getting an Xbox in the first place.
