Well, there was an elementary school/food pantry hybrid place that got broken into...That usually wouldn't be a problem for the food, but the person got blood on the boxes, and they were HIV+, so they threw everything out, even though they were in boxes.
So, my mom, my friend's mom, her children, and I all went to the dumpster they threw the food in and took it out. Honestly, the struggle was THAT real.

It was mostly furniture that was being thrown out that we collected. Our greatest find was flat screen TV that had some dead pixels. My dad was able to fix it and we had a brand new TV for barely anything.
Other than that, we just got a few knick knacks and other less interesting furniture like chairs and tables.
