Huga, I couldn't think of the song it reminded me of, but as I was rereading them, the tune of Almost Home was in my head and i'll be damned, your song goes great with that melody. If you're famous and that song gets produced, you should sample Almost Home because

I've seen your writings in Season 1 as well as this season, and Daniel is right when he said
I'm better when I write sad or moving songs. I think that you are like me in this aspect too.
Writing about happy themes is not really our thing, and to be honest, I expected to leave
this round, because I knew I wasn't at my level best. I know this challenge was not in
your favor, and it could be any of us going tonight .. .. So don't be sad, we know
you are a good writer. I guess I'll see you next season

And to the judges, I know I didn't perform like I used to It's just that this challenge
came into a wrong moment in my life - I have had a bad week and I wasn't
happy at all, so I had to write about something 'happy' even though I was
feeling the complete opposite. It was yet another challenge for me.
I'm glad that you appreciated it despite that - and funnell, you are
right .. Flyleaf is one of my fav bands and this song sure
resembles now when I look at it

If I had to give the song to someone, I'd give it to Of Monsters and Men.
Their lyrics are often positive, but they write it in a dark tone.
That's what I did in my lyrics this round.
I guess I just love dark stuff
