Stans/fans are alway saying that "this or that" should be their fave's next single but sometimes the singles turn out to be flops. Prime example is Criminal. The Army voted it as her 4th single from Femme Fatale, but it peaked at #55 on the Hot 100 chart and the video only has 9,000,000+ views. So, is Criminal the reason why we should let the labels pick their singles?

I don't know. I'm suspicious when we have the option to. I think we all know the label already has the next single all planned out. Prime example is Radar being "voted" as the 4th single from Circus. We all know Unusual You would have won.
