I don't think we'll have to worry about her delaying ARTPOP. Knowing her, releasing music and interacting with her fans will help her recuperate from all of this. As soon as her doctors give her the okay, I'm sure she'll get right on promoting ARTPOP.
Seems to me that considering she's since been spotted back in her wheelchair, that she probably snuck away when she wasn't supposed to in order to get some alone time. It'd make sense given what's going on with her lately.
