The thing that disappoints me the most with Ashlee is she is capable of so much better. Autobiography is fantastic and I Am Me is pretty awesome too. But the two songs I have heard are not up to Ashlee standards.

I know I have gone overboard saying Ashlee will outsell Britney but in reality I am really worried about Ashlee. If the two songs we heard are any indication of what the album is going to be like and if either of those two songs end up being her single Ashlee is in big trouble. Not only will Britney outsell her but Ashlee's career might very well be over.

This album is a make or break album for Ashlee. If this album flops it's going to be hard for her to make anything of her music career. While I still think Britney will flop for Britney standards, I think Britney will sell 200,000-300,000 first week and overall about 2-3 million copies would be great...that's still respectable. Remember, Ashlee's I Am Me barely went platinum in the USA...If Ashlee doesn't sell between 200,000+ albums in the first week it will be a flop.

But I still have hope for Ashlee...mainly because I have heard some non album songs from the I Am Me and Auto era that were pretty bad...almost as bad as these songs...so hopefully these songs don't make the album.

I Dont Wanna Fight sounds like it might sound good in HQ. Ashlee normally releases her album on easy weeks which is why she's always #1 but shes been away so long and November is probably the hardest month of the entire year so its totally the wrong time to release her album. She should release it at the end of October or beginning of December, october would probs be wiser so that she gets some good sales in before Brit, Carrie, Alicia come out with their albums.

Her songs were never really that super radio friendly apart from Pieces Of Me although L.O.V.E and Boyfriend were played alot too but she really needs a single that will get her on radio right now ... theres no way she'll have a hit album without radio helping her. Just look at Hilary Duff.

Last I knew Carrie's album is coming out Oct. 23rd...which means Ashlee would have to release hers before then which is highly unlikely since Carrie's single has already been out for a while and Britney's is coming out now for a Nov. release.

At this point, Ashlee might want to think about scrapping this album and writing something better and waiting until spring to release a new album. If she doesn't release it in Nov. she might as well wait until about March at the earliest because no one releases albums between January and March. Unless she releases the album early in December but even that might not be a good time.

The more I think about it the more I think she should wait until spring to release her album Yeah, I would hate to wait that long but that way it would be perfect timing for a summer tour.

That's soo sweet of yours but please! Nobody wants to know anything about Britney, I'm tired of her! and all the people of this forum knows my opinion about her! sorry Brit/Ash Fans but this is only a place for Ashlee!.

About Ashlee I didn't listen her 2 new songs but I see all the opinions in the Ashlee Forums and all the people say about "I Don't Wanna Fight" is something same to Maneater! well my opinion, I LOVED Maneater that was one of my favorite songs of 2006 Nelly Album, I know that all the people is so dissapointed with this because some fans have the wish of look an Autobiograpghy Ashlee Simpson!, I think it would be great but it's impossible why? because I Am Me was poorly accepted for the people, I Am Me was the Still Autobiography and the sales were so low for the album quality! but the singles were really good! except Invisible with poorly spins. And don't worry fans this only a preview. When I Am Me, I remember with L.O.V.E. and Boyfriend previews!, all the people said that they're terrible but when I listen ALL the album I found a great work from Ashlee. The 2nd song "Get Away with Murder" is not official because is hacked from Ashlee's sidekick and that's why the reason of Ashlee delete the songs of her main fansite and Youtube and of course is a premature preview is not the HQ version.

I see good and bad opinions in this thread! please wait! Ashlee said in all her last interviews that her album will be having break up and rock songs so don't worried!.

That's confussing some people love "Get Away with Murder" and others love "I Don't Wanna Fight" I want to hear these 2 songs and comment with all the free.

And the album is rumored to release in November 6th but I don't know I prefer a good sucessfull selling album in the top 5 than a # 1 flopping album!

The track is like funkier version of, in fact, imagine Maroon 5 doing "Maneater" with the lyrical content of Rihannas "Breaking Dishes". That's what it's like. It has a hilarious bridge with her trying to be all soulful. Anyway, should premiere soonish.

Wow, that sucks...If the release date is real (Nov. 6th) she might have a chance at #1 though since Alicia Keys moved her release date to the 13th.

But I do think Ashlee's album will flop if this is the direction she is going in.

Not mad...just be prepared for an Ashlee flop. Britney will definitely sell more than Ashlee and here's why. Britney's album, even though I hate it...is still staying true to Britney's sound. It's the same sound Britney always had. Ashlee is completely changing her sound and at least half her fanbase if not more is going to hate this crap. Ashlee will not gain any more fans by changing her style. She will just be seen as copying Fergie, Rihanna, and every other R&B act when she isn't and never will be an R&B act.

Those pop-rock girl wannabes from 2001-2005 realized that they can't be avril because "she can do it bettah!" that's why they are now changing their genre!
