Justin's still in Germany though and I doubt he's going to just leave his monkey there. And if the shelter cares so much about the monkey why are they allowing random people to take photos and videos of it. Isn't that bad for it too? Seems like they want their 15 minutes of fame to me.

Of course every news source wants a hot story but that doesn't change the fact that this was extremely irresponsible. His monkey who was just snatched away from its parents gets snatched away from him too and he does nothing about it. Seems pretty cruel.

I don't disagree but the monkey was a gift from a music producer. It's not like he randomly decided to get one.

Don't act as if Bieber is such a saint. It is true that Bieber has some time to get the paperwork to get the monkey back, but realistically it is impossible for him to file the required paperwork IN TIME, meaning he has already practically lost the monkey.

It is true that the monkey will go to a shelter in The Netherlands, but they are not happy that it leaked and people know about it; the shelter is afraid that some Beliebers might be out for revenge (not making this up, it's over the national news)

Taking pics is not hurting the animal like being taken away from its parents a few weeks after birth and being flown around the world plus: two wrongs don't make a right.

Any normal thinking person would arrange a kind of appropriate home for new born or very young animal. You just don't take it around the world. And you don't leave it somewhere without taking care what happens with it.
