Gee willikers, it must be true what they say about blondses! Ever since I reblondered my weave I'm just so frazzazzled! First I forgot to put some pants on with this top, then I ran outta gas, then I got me a pucking farking ticket! Well, at least I founded my fave-rit cowgirl boots! Yee haw! I love me these boots! I'm a Rodeo Drive cowgirl!

actually, i agree to a great extent with you here, Mazz....in general that is, not about britney since i am far from being a fan, but in general, i agrre with your points about album sales vs single peaks.....altho, i´m still a bit confuzzled about the relative floppage of britney´s singles in US, considering how many albums she´d sold....you say it was some beef with clear channel in 01...ok, but other than BOMT , none of her singles except two, went top 10....for example, HOW could toxic peak at #9, when it was so big on both formats?...and the other singles during BOMT and OIDA-eras?
and i must somehow object to the "pure-pop, no hiphop influnces/invites" comment, seeing the list of producers on the album, but yeah, no important collabs/duets with rappers yet *nods*

“Gimme More” is currently at #1 on the Hot 30 Countdown Vote on Australia’s 2dayfm radio station, having only been on airwaves for one day. Britney Spears is the top music search on Yahoo with all of the buzz around the single and within hours of the songs debut, it became the most requested and played song on Z100, a major New York radio station. Mediabase, which records a songs airplay, is reporting that “Gimme More” has reached #59 within only the first two days, and is the most added track in the U.S. on Top 40 radio.
The song is currently receiving heavy airplay from many major radio stations across the country including stations in New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Chicago, Norfolk, and Washington DC. Britney’s as-yet-untitled fifth album will officially hit shops in the UK on 12th November, according to SonyBMG UK, the day before the USA and Canada release on 13th November, and shortly after the central European release on 9th November. The album is due to be released in two formats; CD and Special Edition CD+DVD set, but further details are yet to be finalised & announced.
