I haven't been in this thread for a while so I'm not even gonna with all the pages I've missed....

Anyways, the season finale was quite the letdown, but I'm at least glad they ended the way they did rather than a cliffhanger, which tbh I was almost expecting. If anyone follows @WalkingDead_AMC and they promised the 27 deaths or whatever, like can anyone pick out more than maybe 5 character we can actually give a name to?

For anyone who read the comics up tilll at least 100 (forgive me on names I haven't read in a while):

So since the season ended and we're still in Woodbury, I'm thinking that the season could go one of two ways with the mid season split

-The first half of the season is them finishing up in Woodbury and then could have them reaching the other safeplace, Alexandria or whatever (where Carl gets shot ine the eye). Which then allows them to bring in the new characters like Abraham, Holly etc.
-Or the last episode in the Fall season could have them killing The Governor (I assume that'll happen) and they learn of Alexandria so they set out for it. The second half deals with some character development where we get a better look at the divide between Herschel and Rick as we saw with Carl shooting the boy and the last episode they reach Alexandria.

What did I just watch?

This entire episode (and the season altogether) was freaking pointless. Kill that boring ass Governor and leave that awful prison ASAP.

Season 3 was way better than season 2. What are you talking about?

I'm not sure what they're going to do for season 4. If they keep this stupid ass Governor story arc, then people will lose interest. I kind of wish they'd go back to them vs zombies again. I mean, I get that they wanted to show how evil people can be even in the midst of an apocalypse but enough is enough.

Guv is prob gonna lay low and "surprise" us at midseason 4 or after midseason 4.

Everyone should just get on the Carol train. The true Queen.

Queen Karen is going to be the new voice of reason.

It's hard for me to take Karen seriously when she is a hotassmess in Teen Wolf.

Queen Michonne crying was everything

I just watched the whole 3 seasons in my 2 week spring break and this show is amazing!
My favourite characters right now are Glenn, Maggie, Carol and Michonne.
Carl needs to go and Rick needs to get his **** together though.
Also not here for the boring ass Governor still being alive and Andrea dying.

Season 2 > 3 > 1

Why is everyone stanning for Carol? What has she really proved as a member other than killing walkers with the group and trymna get it in with Daryl?

Michonne and Andrea and Maggie at least go out on their own and prove their worth.

Her or Beth need to get 'separated' from the group and lets see how long they last.

I think Rick bringing the Woodbury folk to the prison was supposed to be him having a change of heart after Carl shot that guy. He saw that his cold, cruel and absolute approach was having an affect on his son and he needed to set a better - more compassionate - example. It may also have been a result of seeing the Governor's brutal attack on his own people.

I'm disappointed that they're dragging out the Governor storyline and Rick is still seeing Lori. The latter doesn't seem to be going anywhere, and the former is annoying because we've been there and done that now. If they're going to keep the same bad guy, they can't keep the same location. It'll be dull.

I welcome the character injection because we were running low, but I do think they'll need to move out of the prison unless they start to convert into it into a gated community Woodbury 2.0 (maybe jump a few months so it's already done). Even then though, it's quite monotonous. Another season of zombies and the Governor trying to get in?

Maybe the next season will feature the armed forces. Maybe they'll want to relocate smaller groups to the prison and take over leadership, then some dodgy business takes place - removing people for testing or something. Did they ever explain the helicopter? I forget.

did i miss something? because i swear when Rick looked up at the catwalk during the finale scene Lori wasn't there. or maybe she was. idk. i was seething about how Andrea died at that point.

Carol would have got the handcuffs off in time.

It was way too slow paced and most episodes were pointless.
Season 3 started off so amazing and dropped into the same thing after episode 9.
The last 2 episods were good again but the finale as a whole was underwhelming.
I'm just happy Andrea is dead she was so stupid it wasn't even fun.
The way she just let Michonne leave although she was the reason she was still alive throughout the winter.
I wanted her dead ever since.
And can Carol die already?
I disliked her in S1 but I wanted her dead since Season 2.
I can't believe she came back midseason
Michonne is the best character on the whole show.
So badass and her sword kills
Overall excited for Season 4 although I don't know where the story is going.
It better not be that one eyed **** for too long
