Are there any actresses that can compete with the main pop gurls in terms of media attention, global relevancy and just plain face recognition? I think Jlaw is the same level as Rihanna right now in terms of recognition and also Kristen Stewart.

Angelina Jolie maybe? I do think pop artists are more widely recognized, because music is consumed more than film/TV. I doubt anyone in my family knows who Jennifer Lawrence and Kristen Stewart are.

Julia Roberts is more relevant than any pop girl right now? I don't think so. And the 90s and every decade before that was different. Back then actresses were more recognized than singers. So that's how Angelina and Julia got recognized. Things have changed now. That doesn't really happen as much now.
