First, there are Indian rappers like Blaaze and even female ones like Hard Kaur. They've been featured in plenty of popular Hindi (Bollywood), Telugu (Tollywood) and other Indian movies so they're able reach a wide audience. Moreover, American rappers (especially Eminem) are definitely popular there. Pitbull already performed in India in 2011, Snoop toured some cities earlier this year and 50 Cent did years ago. Probably other American rappers have too.
